Do you bring Props?
As a rule no. The beauty of taking pictures in your home is that the children are surrounded by their own toys.
For Newborns I bring a bean bag for posing and soft neutral blankets but I resist bringing coloured wraps, hats etc as I want your pictures to be unique to you and your baby. I don't want you to see other babies in the same pose wearing the same hat etc. HOWEVER if you have any props: a teddy, hats, blankets that are personal to your newborn I am more than happy to use them.

My toddler is very active, do they need to sit still for photographs to work?
Toddlers are the ultimate challenge! They are very busy little people with no interest in sitting nicely or taking direction. Their pictures are therefore the most rewarding! I do call on parents to interact with them as they are the most natural shots, please don't worry if you think that Jnr will never look down the lens I have tricks to grab their attention and always get some great shots, even if the session feels chaotic!
My home is small and feels quiet gloomy. Can you still take photographs without a flash?
Your home will make your pictures unique to you. I will hunt out that natural light and we will capture beautiful images. Please do not worry, I have yet to find a house that doesn't have a workable space.
Can our Family Dog be included?
Absolutely!
How do I pay you?
Once booked I will issue you a PayPal invoice. You can either pay online or on the day.
When will we get to see our photographs?
Your online gallery will be ready two weeks after your session. It is a secure gallery site and I will email you a link and text you a password.
How long do we have to choose?
I am told it gets harder the longer you leave it so I advise 2 weeks. However there is no actual time limit.
